Assemblage Art: 'Wired' Watch video here: https://youtu.be/hIj4qEILs3w This piece has been made with the materials: Wallpaper (as base) Previous artwork cut into piece and stapled onto the mannequin Oil crayons Acrylic paint Wires Colored melt rubber glue Epoxy resin Height: 60 centimeters Width: 39 centimeters Weight: between 2 and 6 kilograms Style: abstract/ modern assemblage For home, office or large hallway art display The Idea Behind the Art: This work is a transformation. It began as a canvas assemblage that didn’t feel quite right in its frame, so I chose to liberate the art by cutting it into pieces. By stapling these fragments onto a mannequin, I’ve given the materials a second life—preserving the soul of the initial work while giving it a new, sculptural form.
