I am Funda—Just Funda.

Born and raised in the Netherlands to Turkish descent, and one half of an identical twin, I choose not to identify with a surname. In fact, I distance myself from it in all but the strictest legal senses. As an artist, my name is simply Just Funda (with a capital 'J'). Whether you call me Madam Funda, Miss, or simply Funda, I will respond.

I am an artist specializing in assemblage art on canvas and other materials—you might also call it multimedia sculpture. My creations flow either from a deep creative spirit or a source higher than myself.

When you look at my work, I invite you to interpret it exactly as you perceive it. While my pieces naturally tell a story, my primary goal isn't to force a specific message. Rather, my art is meant to touch your unconscious mind and, ultimately, find its way to your heart.
